Le SIDH souhaiterait également attirer l’attention de la Commission africaine sur les préoccupations soulevées par les organisations non gouvernementales (ONGs) qui ont participé au Forum des ONG avant la session de la Commission africaine, au sujet de la gravité de la situation de certains groupes de défenseurs de droits de l’homme. Par rapport à ces préoccupations, le SIDH souhaiterait attirer l’attention de la Commission africaine sur la vulnérabilité et les risques auxquels font face les femmes défenseures des droits de l’homme, les défenseurs travaillant pour les droits des minorités sexuelles, les défenseurs travaillant dans le domaine des droits économiques, sociaux et culturels et les défenseurs des droits de l’homme durant les périodes électorales en Afrique.
