ISHR supports human rights defenders in their work for the promotion and protection of human rights by providing them with training, information, and strategic advice. Through our extensive training courses in Geneva and in countries we help human rights defenders effectively engage with the UN and regional human rights systems. Defenders who have already attended our courses and successfully used international and regional protection mechanisms for human rights defenders have some great success stories to share. We complement our trainings with information, simple guides, and analysis on the UN and regional systems.
