CAT
|
The Committee against Torture (CAT) is one of the ten United Nations treaty bodies and monitors the implementation of the International Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. Established in 1987, CAT is composed of ten independent experts who meet twice a year.
