 The 41st session of the Committee against Torture (CAT) took place in Geneva on 3-21 November 2008, alongside the 41st session of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR).
The meeting of CAT was notable for the examination of China, while Kenya was being examined for the first time by CAT on 6-7 November and CESCR on 13-14 November. Check here for our reports on all countries examined by the committees.
