Final Communiqué of the 47th Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights |

ISHR actively participated in the work of the Commision through a general statement on human rights defenders and three specific statements during the interactice dialogues with the Special Rapporteur on human rights defenders; the Chairperson of the Working Group on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; and the Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Women in Africa.
ISHR conducted a series of interviews among participants at the NGO Forum (8-10 May 2010) with a view to providing some inside perspectives on the contribution of the Forum to the work of the African Commission (See Forum des ONG 2010 (I) Impressions et perspectives de participants FR ; 2010 NGO Forum (I) Inside Perspectives EN).
ISHR will publish soon the analytical report of the 47th Ordinary Session of the African Commission in French and English.
